A checked reference for K-beauty in North American retail

Binna answers one question: where is each Korean beauty brand actually sold in North America? Every answer links to the public page it comes from.

Who it is for

Shoppers looking for a Korean brand at Sephora, Ulta, Costco or an Asian grocery chain. Independent beauty stores and retail buyers who want to see which brands have reached mainstream shelves, and when. Teams at Korean brands studying how their peers entered North America.

How the data is checked

  • A listing appears only if it has a public source: the retailer's own page, an announcement, or a government disclosure. The source is linked next to it.
  • Every listing shows either the date it was last checked or, for listings taken from news reports, the date of the report.
  • A brand is included only with evidence that it is Korean: a Korean-language brand name or a Korean operating company.
  • Company figures come only from filings on DART, Korea's public disclosure system, and link to the filing.
  • We do not reuse brand images or brand copy.

Currently 91 brands are published. The rankings are calculated from the same data using a public, versioned formula.

Disclosure

The operator has commercial relationships with some Korean beauty brands; those brands are excluded from all rankings.

Sponsored placements, when present, are labeled and never affect inclusion or rank. How sponsorship is handled.
